Hello all!
This is an important update about our 2024 Senior Twins Nike RBI All-Star Tryouts. Due to the immense amount of rain, tryouts will be held only on SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2024, (12:00pm-3:00pm) at Bethel College, Sports, and Recreation Center.
This means the tryout in Minneapolis at Pearl Park and the tryout in Saint Paul at Toni stone have all been moved to one neutral location. This email will contain all the necessary information you need to be best prepared for the tryout on Saturday. If you were scheduled to attend Friday's tryout and cannot attend the new updated tryout, please email me separately. This move was made to ensure we have a safe playing surface to ensure a seamlessly run tryout process. We are incredibly lucky/blessed that Bethel is letting us use their amazing indoor college facilities.

Tryout Time: 12:00pm-3:00pm

Enter main entrance, not back gate from Snelling Ave
Main entrance off Old S. T.H. 10
Drive straight through main gate.
Go straight through first stop sign, past Heritage Hall, and West Lot
Turn right into SRC parking lot
SRC lot/ building is adjacent to the baseball field
SRC lot/building is by the football field too. (See attached map)
Run of show:
- Player Check in - 11:45am-12:00pm
- Tryout Overview & Set Expectations- 12:00pm-12:10pm
- Dynamic Warmup - 12:10pm-12:25pm
- Water Break - 12:25pm-12:30pm
- Throwing Progression - 12:35pm-12:50pm
- Break into tryout stations 12:50pm-1:00pm
- Tryout Station Flow - 1:00pm-2:50pm
- Closing words - 2:50pm-3:00pm
I want to make it very clear that there is zero bias in the selection process, the evaluators picking the team are all Twins Front Office Volunteers who have zero knowledge on any of the kids trying out. Yes, the 2024 All-Star Coaches will be at tryouts and heavily involved in facilitating the tryout stations, but all official evaluators are Twins Front Office Employees.
Lastly, for clarity below you will see the breakdown of how the final roster will be created.
Travel Roster - 16 players will be selected
Practice Squad (No Travel) - 4 players will be selected
Total: 20 players
